FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do I need aftermarket fuel lines?
  • A: Our triple pump assembly should only be used with upgraded feed and return lines. Do not attempt to use the factory feed line as a return line as it will induce error to the external regulator. You may operate our triple pump module with two pumps installed with the factory feed line and internal regulator.
Q: What happens with the original fuel lines?
  • A: The factory fuel line is normally kept intact, but is disabled with an included blockoff plug that is installed in the engine compartment. If you wish to remove the factory fuel line, you will need to add the OE Feed line block off at the passenger side module.
Q: Why doesn't the Fore Innovations fuel pump module have a "basket" surrounding the pumps?
  • A: The basket is actually becomes a bottleneck in the system at lower fuel levels. The size of the basket is limited by the tank access opening and the depth of tank which is INSUFFICIENT in vehicles that have to ability to consume large amounts of fuel for more than 10-12 seconds. By nature of the dual sump fuel tank design, the pump side of the tank already has an adequate sump that provides adequate fuel for your motor.
Q: Can I expect fuel smells when the car is sitting or running?
  • A: No. Our hermetic wire seals assures a 100% seal at the wire pass through (we actually seal the outside and inside of each individual conductor). As long as you are using high quality PTFE (teflon) fuel hose, you can expect fuel smells to be non-existent.
Q: Is the Fore Innovations fuel pump module noisy?
  • A: Our module is far more quiet than any external pump. However, please keep in mind that larger pumps make more noise than smaller pumps; likewise, three pumps make more noise than one pump. Generally speaking, our module with a single turbine style pump will be inaudible in the typical customer's car that has an upgraded exhaust system. If you are sensitive to pump noise, we recommend a dissimilar pump setup, using the smallest possible pump for the primary. If you are unsure about pump selection, please contact us.
OE Feed Port Block Off
Use to block off the OE feed port when using an upgraded line directly off the pump module.

OE Regulator Block Off
Use to disable the OE fuel pressure regulator when using and external fuel pressure regulator.

Boost Sensing Pressure Switch
Adds Honeywell pressure switch set at 4psi with hose barb, sealed Aptiv/Delphi Metripack connector and 15 foot long pigtail. Barb is to be connected to manifold air pressure source (same as boost gauge) and should not be mounted directly on the motor.

Walbro GSS342 G3 255lph best for gasonline-only cars when the secondary fuel pump(s) are large enough to supply fuel for maximum load.

Walbro GSS352 G3 350lph small diameter pump for gasoline-only applications. Not recommended for primary pump at this time.

TI Automotive F90000262 400lhp gasoline-only pump when more capacity than GSS342 G3 is required.

TI Automotive F90000267 430lph E85 rated. Recommended when maximum fuel pressure will not exceed 75psi. Do not use with 274 secondary pump.

TI Automotive F90000274 430lph E85 rated. Recommended when maximum fuel pressure may exceed 75psi (intermittently). Do not use with 267 secondary pump.

TI Automotive F90000285 470lph E85 Rated. 10% more flow and 25% more heat than F90000274. Recommend 274 for primary use over this pump unless capacity is required.

Fuel Level Sending Unit Styles Explained:

Style #1 (2005 to 2010):  This OE level sender came from the factory in 2005 to mid 2011 vehicles and is no longer manufactured.  If your fuel pump has been replaced (with a new OE pump) since 2011, you mostly likely have a Style #2 or Style #3 level sender.
TRANSITION YEAR: 2011 was a transition year, meaning you could have Style #1 or Style #2 from the factory (possibly Style #3 if you've had it replaced in the past).

Style #2 (2012 to Mid 2020): This style of OE level sender is no longer manufactured.  If your fuel pump has been replaced (with a new OE pump) since 2021, you mostly likely have a Style #2 or Style #3 level sender.
TRANSITION YEAR: 2020 was a transition year, meaning you could have Style #2 or Style #3

Style #3 (Mid 2020+) - Currently not available: This style of OE level sender is currently manufactured and comes from the factory in mid 2020+ vehicles. Style #3 is a new design with the fuel tank, please visually confirm the sending units in the car and contact us if you have any questions.

We have just found that some mid 2020+ vehicles come with style 2 so please enter vin number for verification.

If your fuel pump (new OE pump) has EVER been replaced,  you could have Style #1, Style #2, or Style #3 installed.

Because of this, it is required that you visually inspect your level sender to confirm which style you have before placing your order with us. If you need help with selecting the correct style level sender, please contact us for assistance at sales@foreinnovations.com.

NOTE:  aftermarket level senders are not compatible with our pump modules...only OE Chrysler
